Mibelle Biochemistry

Buchs, Switzerland · Est. 1991

Plant-derived science at the frontier of skin biology.

Mibelle Biochemistry has spent more than three decades turning naturally derived plant compounds into functional, high-bioavailability cosmetic actives — backed by clinical studies, peer-reviewed publications, and the regulatory documentation brands need to make credible claims.

Over 400 mineral salts and more than 7,000 specifications. The specification count is the more meaningful number: it is the measure of how far a grade can be tailored.

ABOUT THIS PRINCIPAL

Three decades of plant science in a bottle.

Mibelle Biochemistry was founded in 1991 in Buchs, Switzerland by Dr. Fred Zülli. Operating independently within the Mibelle Group — Switzerland's largest manufacturer of cosmetic finished goods — the company has earned a global reputation for science-backed innovation in skin beauty, healthy ageing, hair care, and beauty-from-within nutraceuticals.

Mibelle's actives are formulated for premium personal-care brands worldwide, with a scientific dossier behind every product — clinical studies in vitro and in vivo, peer-reviewed publications, and the marketing tools formulators need to position their claims with regulators and end consumers alike. The result is an active ingredient company that behaves more like a biotech firm than a cosmetic raw-material supplier.

"Mibelle's chemistry is distinct because the science behind each active is demonstrable — not just a certificate of analysis, but a clinical dataset that a brand can put behind a claim and a regulatory submission."

ADCHEM holds Mibelle Biochemistry distribution in a defined set of regional markets, supported by stocking close to our personal-care customers and a formulation team in Bergamo and Lahore that can integrate Mibelle actives into a finished prototype within weeks. Customers get the Swiss science with regional logistics behind it.

FEATURED TECHNOLOGY

Mibelle's signature is PhytoCellTec™ — a proprietary plant cell culture technology that enables the large-scale cultivation of callus (stem) cells from rare and protected plant species. The platform unlocks actives that would otherwise be impossible to harvest at industrial scale, including a recent extension into PhytoCellTec™ Exosomes for skin rejuvenation.

Beyond PhytoCellTec™, Mibelle's encapsulation expertise — liposomes, lipid carriers and biopolymer encapsulation systems — is a core formulation enabler. The company's biochemists stabilise, modify and encapsulate naturally derived molecules to deliver real performance in a finished product, not just a label claim.

WORKING WITH ADCHEM

What ADCHEM adds to the AAK relationship.

LIKE-FOR-LIKE VALIDATION

Substitution done on performance, not viscosity

Matching an incumbent silicone means matching spreading, volatility, and finish, not just the number on the datasheet. Our laboratories run the comparison before you commit to a changeover.

FORMULATION ECONOMICS

Cost engineering without sensory loss

Silicone is often the largest single cost line in a premium formula. We identify where a grade change genuinely saves money and where it will be noticed by the consumer.

DUAL-SOURCING SUPPORT

Supply continuity planning

Silicone markets tighten periodically. Backing a formula with an integrated producer, and qualifying the grade in advance, is the practical hedge.
