ImDerma Laboratories works from dermal science and analytic science toward integrated skincare solutions that span innovative ingredient development through to finished product manufacture. Very few suppliers occupy both positions, and for a brand without an internal laboratory that combination removes an entire handover.
Product safety, stability and effectiveness are supported by five in-house laboratories and ISO 22716 certified plant facilities. The R&D team spans chemistry, biochemistry, cosmetics, pharmacy, microbiology, biomedical materials and biotechnology, publishing in international journals and holding close to twenty patents across the EU, US, Taiwan, China and Japan.

ImDerma's structure is unusual. Ingredient development, efficacy testing, safety assessment, microbiology, regulatory support and finished product manufacture all sit inside the same organisation, across five laboratories and a set of ISO 22716 certified plants. A brand can therefore commission a custom active, have its efficacy substantiated, and have the finished product manufactured without moving between three suppliers and reconciling three sets of data.
The scientific base is dermal and analytic science, with a research team drawn from chemistry, biochemistry, cosmetics, pharmacy, microbiology, biomedical materials and biotechnology. The group publishes in international journals and holds close to twenty patents across five jurisdictions.
Natural raw material handling is supported by a dedicated green-extraction factory at Yilan, alongside the Hsinchu headquarters and manufacturing centre, a Taipei office, and international offices in the United States, the Netherlands and China.
Customised ingredient development is only useful if the efficacy testing, the safety assessment and the INCI work come with it. ImDerma supplies all four from one house.
